Following his sell out 2010 tour, Rod Stewart will once again take to the stage as he embarks on an eagerly anticipated Live The Life tour in June.
Hotly-tipped electro-soul siren Moya will be special guest support to Rod Stewart on his upcoming Live The Life European tour.
Moya – aka Emily Andrews – has been garnering attention and brightening up the radio airwaves with the sweetly melodic pop of Radio 2 mainstay ‘Making Me Fall’. She’s upped the beats on her new electro-tinged single ‘A Little More Love’, and her full-length debut ‘Lost & Found’ is out now.
Never failing to deliver, the Grammy Award winning, two time Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and one of the world’s best selling musical artists, will return to Sheffield on Sunday 23rd June.
Rod Stewart said: "I cannot wait to get back on the road again especially in the UK where the fans always make it a very special occasion for me. The June tour is going to be fantastic!"
Rod’s Live The Life Tour will see him performing all his hits and most recognisable tracks including ‘Da Ya Think I’m Sexy’, ‘Maggie May’, ‘Baby Jane’ and ‘The First Cut is the Deepest’, Rod Stewart’s summer shows are set to raise temperatures across the country. With a career now in its fifth decade, Stewart has sold over 100 million records worldwide with six consecutive number one albums, 62 hit singles including 31 top 10s and six number 1s. Stewart has also been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on two occasions, once as a solo artist and once as a member of Faces.
Rod has recently completed his first album of new material in almost 20 years, landmark new album, titled ‘Time’, which marks his long-awaited return to his songwriting roots and features 12 tracks, 11 of which he wrote and produced. ‘It’s out May 6th on Decca Records.
Tickets are limited to 6 per person on this show and anyone aged under 14 must be accompanied by an adult 18 or over.
Doors will open at 6.30pm, however the show start time of 8pm is only a proposed start time - this will be confirmed closer to the show date - please check back for further details.
